I first started studying astrology at the age of twenty-two, and since then have found it to be an invaluable tool to help me better know and understand myself. A birth chart (horoscope) is a blueprint of the soul that shows your potentials, abilities, and the most important issues that you will face in life.
Life consists of a series of cycles and seasons. The birth chart can be also used to understand when you will be going through different cycles in your life.
Astrology can be especially helpful when you are going through a difficult season. For example, when I had lost hope during one of my major depressive episodes, I was assured by a good friend and astrologer that if I could just hold on until the end of the year, the depression would lift. And so it did.
